Our Community
The Versailles community is a small,  rural town
nestled in southeastern Indiana. Gently rolling hills
and farmland with plenty of trees is the landscape
here. We love our small town and hope you do as
well when you visit or just pass through. When you
come our way please stop in to enjoy the
ammenities a small community has to offer.
Versailles State Park is right next to Versailles and
offers great camping, fishing and hiking. The Ripley
County Historical Society also has a museum and an
old time log home located at the corner of Main &
High Streets. Busching Bridge (covered bridge) built
in 1885 is located next to the state park entrance
gatehouse and spans Laughery Creek. Just
upstream in the park is the Versailles State Park
Lake covering 230 acres. Our courthouse square
has an historic courthouse and a beautiful Veterans
Memorial.
We hope you enjoy your visit here at our website
and here in our community. Oh, and while you're
here, stop in at 115 Jarvis Dr. and worship our great
and mighty God. He deserves it!
